SOAR provides FREE holiday meals for low-income seniors aged 65 or older, living in Frederick County, MD (with an income less than $2100/month for an individual or $3000/month for a couple). Meals are for seniors that are homebound and/or would otherwise not be able to celebrate with family or friends. Holiday meals are fully prepared and ready to heat and eat.

Thanksgiving Meals will be delivered on Wednesday, November 27th between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Seniors MUST be home during this time to receive the meal. Thanksgiving meal requests are currently closed. Please come back on December 2nd to request meals for Christmas.
Christmas Meals will be delivered on December 23rd between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Seniors MUST be home during this time to receive a meal. Meal requests can be placed beginning December 1st and must be received by December 15th, for Christmas. We are unable to take any requests after December 15th.
